SUNSHINE COAST WEDDING EXPOS
The Sunshine Coast is a popular wedding destination and with the average cost of a wedding being around $30,000 that represents big business for operators in the region.
“It’s more important than ever that couples make the right choices given that many spend years either saving up for or paying back the cost of the wedding,” said Dee Collins from Exhibitions Unlimited who organise the it’s my wedding Expos on the Sunshine Coast.
“The Sunshine Coast is the perfect venue for a wedding and local businesses are reaping the benefit of the extensive list of products and services required to create the perfect wedding day. This industry is of great value to the Coast, it keeps people employed and attracts a different style of tourist who has either come here to get married or to attend a wedding.”
Planning a wedding can take weeks and months. By attending a Wedding Expo brides can meet with wedding suppliers in all categories whether it be the wedding venues, florists, jewellers, photographers or make-up artists. The number one stress factor most brides is the budget and if you’re investing such significant sums of money, you want to be absolutely certain it’s with the right person or the company.
“The perfect wedding destination can be anywhere from Caloundra to Noosa, Cooroy to Maleny or anywhere in between so we attract exhibitors from across the Sunshine Coast giving our brides the opportunity to look at all the options available. Having them all together in one room, makes it that much easier for the brides to find the right person who can deliver exactly what they want,” said Dee.
The it’s my wedding Expo – Sunshine Coast takes place on Sunday, 27th May at the Events Centre, Maroochy RSL and includes everything from displays to fashion parades, fantastic prizes and the chance for brides to speak to people like celebrants, hair and make-up stylists, jewellers, photographers, caterers, venue operators, entertainers and florists.
The it’s my wedding Expo – Noosa takes place on Sunday, 26th August at Noosa Springs Resort.
